Ankle Distraction

The ankle distraction device can be used with the patient in back layer, in side layer or on the stomach. With the ball joint and an angular adjustment the devise can be adjusted to the needs of the surgical procedure performed and the patient's anatomy.

For the surgical procedure performed the devise can be adjusted to give optimum conditions for the surgeon and at the same time secure the best working conditions for the surgeon.

With the use of a Media Sling the foot can be distracted with the ankle flexed in 45º or more - giving good space for an ankle arthroscopy procedure.

With the Calcaneus Sling the angle can be distracted with the foot in a 90º angle to give good space in the sub tailor joint for an arthroscopy or minimal invasive procedure.

For the surgeon the traction devise improves the working posture and the over view during sub tailor joint minimal invasive procedures.
